The Aspire Teacher Residency and New Visions for Public Schools - Hunter College UTR were featured on Teacher Beat yesterday. The article, titled “Charters Stepping Up to Train Teachers,” describes how the two organizations use their residency programs to train teachers specifically for their schools. This gives them the opportunity to observe teachers during their training, allowing them to gain a clear knowledge of the residents’ strengths and shortcomings.
