Chicago UTEP Mentor Receives Golden Apple Award

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn surprised a Murray Language Academy teacher yesterday when he arrived to present her with the Golden Apple Award. Elizabeth Luna is a kindergarten teacher at Murray and a mentor for the University of Chicago Urban Teacher Education Program (UTEP). Read more in this CBS Chicago article.
