Those of you in in NY on April 22nd can attend this upcoming event where two of UTRU’s board members are speaking.
Tim Knowles, Director of the Urban Education Institute at University of Chicago will be giving a lecture titled “Urban Schooling: The Promise and the Peril” that discusses both challenges with urban school reform and promising solutions. Robert Hughes, President of New Visions for Public Schools will also join the discussion and discuss trends in urban schooling.
Looks like a great event- wish I lived closer!
