TEACH/Here’s 4-8 residency program will now be called Project Inspire. The name change was inspired by residents’ passion for serving underprivileged students. “This is about more than just academia. It’s about people’s commitment to a value system,” said Cheri Dedmon, the program’s director. Project Inspire is a partnership between Tennessee Tech, Hamilton County Schools, and PEF Chattanooga. This new launch also allows the program to be customized for Hamilton County. Both Project Inspire and TEACH/Here’s 7-12 STEM residency remain part of PEF Chattanooga’s overall residency initiative.
