Success of Charter Schools is Mixed

Thursday May 6, 2010

In case you haven’t seen this yet, here’s the recent NYT article on charter schools having mixed results.  Definitely some great work being done in many charter schools across the country - Williamsburg Collegiate and Harlem Village Academy in New York City and Citizens’ Academy in Cleveland are mentioned as having great results.  Can this success be replicated without compromising the quality of the school when programs move to scale?
